Let there be fish

Day five on the Elimination Diet we decided to dabble with salmon.

We don’t often eat fish unless gorging on sushi about once a month. The tamari in the recipe was a last minute add on and it finished the dish off beautifully.

For a lunch that is ready in minutes and happens to have a full rounded flavour, assemble the following ingredients.

(Serves Two)

Two fillets fresh wild socket salmon
Two cloves minced garlic
1/2tsp smoked paprika
1/2tsp cayenne pepper
Freshly ground Himalayan pink salt
1tbsp olive oil
2tsp tamari
Steamed spinach to serve

Rub the spices into the salmon.

Heat oil on medium heat in a frying pan.

Once the oil is hot, place the salmon skin side down in the pan.

Once the salmon is cooked halfway, flip it.

Next throw the tamari in and let it sizzle away, once the salmon has a beautiful caramel colour glaze on the top, serve immediately.
